Meet Darryl Cunningham’s Super-Sam and John-of-the-Night

For a long time now we’ve been thinking it might be nice to have an original comic strip on our site; our New York store has Shannon Wheeler doing one for them weekly on their site and we’ve really been enjoying some of the many gems to be found out there in online comicland. Well, now we’ve gone ahead and gotten one: every Tuesday we’ll be featuring a new strip by the very talented Darryl Cunningham, starting right here, today, with his adventures of Super-Sam. It made the FPI web-team laugh when it came in and we really hope you like it – please do leave comments and be sure to check out Darryl’s own sites for more of his lovely art and remember to check back each Tuesday for a brand-new strip from Darryl. You can check out Darryl’s illustration blog here, as well as his Live Journal and he has many more illustrations to enjoy on his Flickr stream here.

[...] Super-Sam and John-of-the-Night. A new weekly strip by Darryl Cunningham is running on the Forbidden Planet blog. I think you should be able to subscribe to it alone with this feed as long as they keep their categories straight. And while I’m at it, thanks to everyone for spreading the word about Darryl. It all worked out in the end. Warm glows all round. Thanks to Badham for the heads up. [...]
