Film rights have been snapped up for “Baltimore, or the Steadfast Tin Solider and the Vampire”, an illustrated novel by Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola, with David Goyer (no stranger to the fantastic genre following his Blade outings) set to direct. The story follows Lord Henry Baltimore who is bitten by a vampire bat on the muddy, bloody battlefields of the Great War; the infection destroys his family and set Baltimore on a quest to hunt down and destroy the Red King, embodiment of the evil source.
