New Digital Animation Studio opened

AWN reports that David Sproxton, co-founder and executive chairman (*) of the national treasure that is Aardman Animation was invited to open the new Digital Animation Studio at University College Falmouth, where he also got to meet and talk with the first students enrolled on their new BA (Hons) in Digital Animation. Course Leader Andy Wyatt commented, “It was a delight to welcome David Sproxton to view the fantastic facilities we have in the Animation Studio at Tremough, and his visit marks the start of an important connection with one of the most famous and important animation companies in the world. Here at UCF we strive to maintain strong relationships with industry, and this event has sealed many important links for the future.” (thanks to Marko at Neorama for the link)
