Student Duncan Binnie has been fined £150 after pleading guilty to a charge of breach of the peace at Perth Sheriff Court in Scotland. At this summer’s T in the Park music festival Binnie, in Spider-Man garb, decided he could do whatever a spider can and scuttled up a thirty foot speaker gantry, endangering himself and others, despite please from headline act Snow Patrol to come down before the structure toppled over. He was eventually coaxed down and the Spidey mask removed as he was taken away by the police. I wonder how the Daily Bugle would have reported that one? (link via the BBC)
