SFX has a brief chat with Thomas Haden Church about his role as the Sandman in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 flick, where he confirmed that the third outing is indeed a bit darker than the previous two: “People have been saying the movie seems darker and it is, not just because there’s a black suited Spider-Man on the one-sheet, but in terms of darker themes“. Church’s fellow Spidey-3 actor Topher Grace is up for a similar chat with the SFX team this coming Friday.
