The new SciFi series based on Jim Butcher’s cracking Dresden Files novels about Harry Dresden, a down-at-heels Chicago gumshoe and wizard, is reviewed over on showbiz journal Variety’s site and they seem relatively pleased with the first couple of episodes. The books, published in the UK by Orbit, are a great mix of humour, mystery tale, horror and thriller so I think I’ll need to add the TV version to my ‘to-watch’ list.
