Friends of Lulu, a non-profit organisation aimed at encouraging the level of female readership and participation in the comics biz, has an online ballot up to allow readers to vote in several categories for this year’s awards; unless you are a strange creature who thinks girls should only play with ponies and their only involvement in comics should be as scantily clad super-women you should go over and lend them some support by voting. Who knows, you may even find yourself thinking, who is this creator, perhaps I ought to try something of theirs… The awards are announced at the San Diego Comic Con; voting ends by June 30th.
