Awards, Comics and cartoons

Neorama has details of the World Press Cartoon Sintra 2008, which will cover three main categories: editorial cartoon, caricature and gag cartoon. Entries for consideration must have been published between January 1st and December 31st 2007 and be accompanied by a copy of the printed page in which they appeared, with any entries to arrive at the Lisbon office by the end of January 2008. Cartoonists interested in taking part in this prestigious international competition will be pleased to note that as well as the award there is a monetary prize of a not-to-be-sniffed-at 5000 Euros for the first prize in each category.
