Aleksandar Zograf who wished us all Regards From Serbia will be appearing as part of the Comics Wave section of the Italia Wave Love Festival, along with Bryan Talbot. The Festival takes place in Florence, Italy from July 17th to 22nd and takes in a wide mixture of different artistic forms, from music to cinema to books and comics; the Comics Wave component will also see a 24 Hour Italy Comics attempt and feature a specially produced sketchbook from Bryan Talbot’s Alice in Sunderland. Having a look at the other events there seems to be a ton of stuff going on, with a lot of it being free earlier on each day to encourage more people to check out the lesser known bands and artists or otherwise very cheap, at least if you live close enough to go along!
