Batman star Christian Bale, currently in London for the UK premiere of The Dark Knight, has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police, reports the BBC. Bale has been arrested apparently in connection with an alleged assault on his mother and sister in the extremely posh Dorchester hotel on Sunday. According to a brief statement from the Met he is currently still in custody. I’d make the obvious pun about Bale trying to post bail but given the nature of the alleged charges I think I’ll just say that, if true, eugh and what the hell?!?!
