Via Andy Luke comes news of a comics art exhibition ahead of this August’s Caption convention: “The Caption Comics Collective will be running an exhibition at the Oxford Jam Factory with a launch party this Thursday July 31st from around 6:30pm and another the evening before Caption (August 8th). In attendance this Thursday Matt Brooker, Andrew Luke, Jeremy Dennis, Dierdre Ruane, Sally Anne-Hickman, and hopefully Mr. Terry Wiley, along with other stars of the Oxford comics and music scene.”
From the Jam Factory’s website it looks like the exhibition will boast work by Andy himself, Ellen Lindner, Daniel Merlin-Goodbrey, David Baillie and D’Israeli. Caption itself takes place from the 9th to the 10th of August in the East Oxford Community Centre and I am reliably informed by some of our friends in the small press scene that its usually a blast; check the Caption site for more details.
