As Richard has already pointed out there is an embarrassment of riches coming up at Comica this month (see his post here). Paul Gravett tells me that interest has been very high, with many events such as the Dave McKean gig rapidly running out of tickets, so he is asking readers to check the website and if possible book the tickets for events in advance to be sure of getting in rather than trusting to luck and assuming they can get in on the night. And don’t forget that this Friday (14th) there will be a one-day symposium entitled Archetypes vs Stereotypes in the august location of the Victoria and Albert, which boasts guest speakers Asia Alfasi, Dougie Braithwaite, Melinda Gebbie, Pat Mills, Alan Moore, Lise Myhre, Ian Rakoff, Richard Reynolds, Posy Simmonds and more – that sounds like an event not to be missed.
