The Dundee Literary Festival will be taking place from Thursday 19th of June to Sunday the 22nd and, in addition to a fine range of authors and workshops (from Ian Rankin to workshops in how to write for television) there’s an entire day (the Sunday) put aside as Comics Day. How great is that?!?! The programme includes D.C. Thomson artist Jim Glen, lecturer, reviewer and writer Roger Sabin (Comics, Comix and Graphic Novels), the always fascinating Paul Gravett, Glasgow’s Metaphrog, Ilya, Dundee University’s Dr Christopher Murray and Bryan Talbot. All this can be yours for a mere ten pounds for the day pass, which is extremely good value. For more details, check the official website.
