Blighty’s own David Baillie is interviewed (in French) in the latest issue of BDzine (#19). If like me you weren’t familiar with this publication it seems to be a very laudable journal – from the site’s description:
“BDzine is distributed freely in selected comic book shops in France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands. Each issue is solely dedicated to one artist so that he/she can have more visibility. The artist realises the front cover and a center page, and is interviewed. All artwork submission is made via e-mail (please do not send anything by post). You keep the copyright of all your work.
Contributing to BDzine is made in a benevolent manner as it is published by I.M.A., a French non-profit association, which only aims is to help artists getting known. We make absolutely no profit (on the contrary) and are passionate about comic books in general (a band of guys dedicated to what they like and is investing their own time and money to share it with others). Although BDzine is published in French, artists from all over the world are presented. In previous issues artists from France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Japan, Ireland, England, etc. were presented. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested to have your work featured in a forthcoming issue.”
