Following on from the announcement of the series, IDW have released more images and information about the new Doctor Who: The Forgotten mini series which is due in August. (via CBR). I could write more here, but Tony’s words at the CBR piece are enough. And the images speak for themselves here anyway. It’s looking like a very hotly anticipated comic series already.

I have obtained particular pieces of information relating to the acronym WHO meaning White Honorary Occultist. You should devote a topic on the reasoning behind the name WHO.

Really? I heard from a friend who knew a friend who knew a man who was the hairdresser to John Nathan Turner and he swears WHO secretly stands for Wear Hats Outdoors, although no-one is sure if this is simply because the producers like hats, because they think it is sound advice to protect the head from the elements or, more sinisterly, if they are in the pay of the shadowy British Hat Foundation.

well i did whinge about this when i first heard the plot line, the doctor losing his memory, and having to go through his past lives, has been done numerous times!, but i gotta admit the artwork is great, and almost fulfills a dream artwork i’ve had for years, with all the doctors doing stuff together, including tom and peter playing cricket!, okay so david is playing cricket with peter, but near enough!
am looking forward to this now!
