The Edinburgh International Book Festival and Gary Erskine have both been in touch today to say that Gary will be taking part in a late addition to the EIBF programme, which, as reported here, includes a number of graphic novel events again this August. Gary will be appearing on Friday 15th of August from 4.30 to 5.30pm, where he will be discussing and demonstrating his artwork, from his earliest work through to Vertigo and Dan Dare, in an event entitled “Want to draw comics?”. There should be a Q&A at the end too, Gary tells me. The event has only just been added so you won’t find it in the printed programme, but you can find the details via the EIBF website.
