Warner Brothers are developing a new movie based around the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon Yogi Bear, according to the Hollywood Reporter; like Alvin and the Chipmunks the film will be a mixture of live action with CG animation for the characters of Yogi and Boo-Boo. The news coincides with reports of an increase in visitor’s picnic baskets being stolen by mischievous bears in Jellystone national park. Maybe. You know, I like Yogi, but personally I am holding out for the big screen version of Top Cat.
