The guys from the fine Geek Syndicate podcast have just posted up an interview with writer James Moran who, among other things, wrote the British horror-comedy Severance, the well-received Torchwood season 2 episode ‘Sleeper‘ and an episode of the upcoming season 4 of Doctor Who (soon, my geeky friends, soon!!!). Among the questions posed were how knowledge of the criticism of the patchy first season of Torchwood affected James’ writing for the second and just what on earth it feels like to sit down to watch the telly and realise that at that same exact moment several million people are also doing the same and watching a story that you wrote. (thanks to my colleague Gary who looks after our Back Issues site for the link)
