Marc Guggenheim and Dave Dumeer’s Resurrection, published by Oni, is the latest comic to be optioned by Hollywood, with Universal doing the deal, the third Oni series to be optioned for a possible movie (although it must be borne in mind optioning a title is not the same as actually getting it made). The alien invasion story will have writer Guggenheim onboard as an executive producer, along with Oni’s Peter Schwerin; Guggenheim is also attached to a big screen adaptation of DC’s Green Lantern.
