Sandy Christie has a launch for four new titles on Friday 6th of June at the Collective Gallery on Edinburgh’s Cockburn Street from 7 to 9PM. Sandy will be presenting Fence, Wartales and Scrambler, described as “a fine blend of drawings, colours, concepts, devices, humour, and characters” as well as the intriguing-sounding Paper X, which is a very unusual collaborative effort from 37 individuals, both artists and everyday folks – blank copies of Paper X were distributed around the city for people to pick up and have a bash at doing a part of it themselves. I have no idea if this is genius or if it will fall flat, but what an interesting way to attempt a collaboration – always good to see someone trying something different. You can find out more about the new titles on the official site here.
