Internationally bestselling (and much loved) fantasy author Terry Pratchett has been knighted in the New Year’s Honours list. Its not every day someone from our beloved SF&F genre gets recognition like that, well done Sir Terry. Sadly I am still waiting on Her Majesty to offer me a K for services to sarcastic blogging, but hope springs eternal… (via the BBC)
