Al and Maggie Davison tell me they have some cool events lined up very soon in their spot (The Astral Gypsy) at Workshop 7, Canal Basin, St Nicholas Street in Coventry. Saturday the 13th (from 3 to 5pm) sees Jas Wilson signing copies of Him and Her’s Smuggling Vacation, which has been picking up a lot of praise, not least from our own Richard Bruton (see here) and was one of John Freeman’s choices for his Best of Year (see here). Sunday 14th sees the Coventry Art Fair at the Canal Basin, with craft and food stalls to explore, including artwork from Al himself (good chance to pick up something interesting for Christmas and support local artists at the same time). On Saturday 20th two very good friends of the blog, Leah Moore and John Reppion, will be present to sign copies of their work from 3 to 5pm.
