Over on the Blank Slate Books blog our own Kenny Penman has posted up a look at a very cool design for a counter box for the next BS release from Mawil, Sparky o’Hare (published as Meister Lampe in Germany), the electrician rabbit who seems to cause more problems than he solves. Kenny tells us that the English language edition has just gone off to the printers and that Mawil himself has designed this display holder to contain the compact book which looks very much like a perfect stocking filler size gift (yes, I know, sorry, ideas for Christmas gifts keep cropping up, but then again it is bearing down on us, so start hinting to your nearest and dearest now as to what comics and books you want them to get you!). And just to help get you in the mood a bit more, as well as simply giving you a cool comic strip to enjoy, Kenny tells me we’re going to be posting cartoons from Sparky o’Hare right here on the blog, starting next week, so as the long, winter nights draw in (except for our readers in the southern hemisphere) there’s something to brighten your day; don’t touch that dial.
