BBC Radio 4′s Chain Reaction puts two performers together, one interviewing the other, then the following week the subject of the interview then becomes the questioner for a new guest, who the following week comes back to question another and so on, creating the eponymous ‘chain’. I missed hearing yesterday’s episode which featured two members of the Doctor Who cast, with Catherine Tate interviewing David Tennant, but it is still available for several days on the Listen Again Feature. Next week Tennant will interview fellow Scots actor Richard Wilson who also appeared in Who (in the first season of the new series) among many other roles. I’ve heard some of Chain Reaction’s previous shows and they are usually fascinating to listen to and a little different from the usual interview since it tends to be a peer interviewing a peer rather than journalist or talk show host talking to a guest; for more details check the BBC Radio 4 website.
