In fairness, regarding the darkness of the printing of my stuff in the Guardian - there was a degree of, ahem, naivete on my part about what could work printed on newsprint and they probably did the best they could with the files I provided. So, yes, it all ended up a bit more noir than intended, but it was pretty much my fault. Ta for the kind words, Katherine.
