Top comics artist, designer and illustrator Brendan McCarthy has a new blog, The Strangeness of Brendan McCarthy. And with a body of work which goes from Judge Dredd to Rogan Gosh and Skin (which I still think is one of the most in-your-face British graphic novels that everyone should read, if only it would get reprinted) I imagine as the blog starts to fill up there will be some delightful strangeness to enjoy. Since it has just started it doesn’t have too much yet, although I notice there is this very timely look at some storyboard artwork Brendan completed for Tim Burton’s new Sweeney Todd movie, which opens in the UK next weekend. One to bookmark and keep an eye on. (thanks to Matthew Badham for the tip)
