There’s more information on the upcoming Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival in Leeds over at their website. It’s taking place from 13th – 16th November and includes a one day comic convention on Saturday 15th November.
It’s looking like it’s going to be an excellent few days and a welcome addition to the convention scene in the UK at the moment.
The only disappointment so far has been the unfortunate cancellation of Rutu Modan. But as the guest list includes creators as varied as Mark Millar, Alex Maleev, Simone Lia, Andy Diggle, Mike Carey, Marc Ellerby, Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie and many more I think it’s going to be a good day indeed.
They’ve just announced the Exhibitor list, which includes a great deal of very talented people, some I’m aware of, some I’ve met and some I’m looking forward to saying hello to. And since all the people involved make excellent comics, feel free to join in. Tickets are available here for the ridiculously cheap price of £6 (Under 12s get in free).
