Cake, the final frontier…

Star Trek cake.jpg

How fabulous is this classic Star Trek cake? It was created by Duff Goldman, who has a bakery in Baltimore which often features on the show Ace of Cakes on the Food Network. I like the way Duff has even got the little Kirk figure in a very Shatner-esque pose in his command chair, not to mention all the detailing on the screens and consoles and the fact that you can clearly recognise Sulu’s face on the little helm figure. Brilliant – almost a shame to eat it! (link via Boing Boing)
