Tonight on Strip! – British small press creators let loose!

Alex Fitch kindly drops me his customary update on what aural goodness we can expect this evening on Resonance FM’s Strip! show – and I’m really delighted to see that a couple of our top notch creators from the British small press scene are in the spotlight:

Strip! – New Comic creators, 5pm on Resonance 104.4 FM (London)

As it’s Imbolc Day tomorrow (the first day of Spring), we’re looking at new comic book creators. In the first half of the show Alex Fitch talks to Oli (Hazy Thursday) Smith and Oliver (Tales from the Flat) Lambden about their self published comics and the London Underground Comics stall they run every Saturday at Camden Market. Then, in a trio of interviews recorded at the Japanese Embassy, Alex talks to Michael Kacar, Asia Alfasi and Gillian Sein Ying Ha – the winners of the Manga Jiman (Pride in Manga) competition to find new British Manga creators (the accompanying exhibition is on at the Embassy until the end of March).

The show is streamed via Resonance’s site and Alex normally makes the show available after transmission via the Panel Borders site.
