Great Hera!Wonder Woman Day is coming!The Wonder Woman Museum has details of Wonder Woman Day coming up in Portland, Oregon and Flemington, New Jersey on the 26th of October. The event is to create awareness of domestic violence and raise funds for shelters for victims of domestic abuse, a very worthy cause. The guest list includes Adam Hughes, Allison Sohn, Gaile Simone, Aaron Lopresti, Daria and Steve Dorris, with a silent auction to raise funds which boasts contributions from a multitude of artists, including Matt Wagner, Alex Chung, Dean Motter, Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez, Ryan Sook, Wendy Pini, Lee Moder and many more – its a pretty impressive roster. For those of us who can’t get to actual events you can go and browse the contributed artwork on the site and bids on it will be taken from October 16th to 25th and on the site only on the 26th – a chance to try and buy some cool art of the first lady of superheroines and help a cause I’m sure Diana would support.
