A Jedi never use the force for attack, only defence – and arresting crims…

Figures obtained by Jane’s Police Review under the Freedom of Information Act showed that Scotland’s largest force, Strathclyde Police (which includes Glasgow and the surrounding area, so its responsible for a huge chunk of the country’s population), has among its ranks eight serving officers who put ‘Jedi’ down as their official religion when filling in the voluntary diversity forms (those forms that authorities use to measure how badly they represent the actual socio-ethnic mix of the country). This follows the 2001 national census where several hundred thousand people put down Jedi in the (again voluntary) section asking about religious views. So is the Force strong with the Force?

Mind you, if some Scottish coppers are following the way of the Jedi (visions of batons being replaced with lightsabres) in light of recent, incredibly disturbing photos and amateur video of police officers seeming to assault members of the public during the recent G20 protest it begs the question, are the Sith spreading their baleful influence among some of their southern colleagues?
