Aldebaran is one of my favourite titles from Cinebook – the worlds Leo has built up are just fantastic. I’ve seen a lot worse ‘censorship underwear’, and I don’t mind it too much, though I do wish the UK was a bit more European in its sensibilities! Having said that, Cinebook must have avoided a few problems (libraries etc.) and sold a few more books because of their decision.

CineBook publishes the same edition, in almost all the South East Asian nations, including the Middle East. So, their reservations in using the artwork as-it-is, is understandable.

I only wish that instead of contrary style, they do something better to make it go in the shades of the panel artwork.

To give Cinebook their due, this is really the first time I’ve noticed it to the extent that it spoils my enjoyment of the book just a little.

Overall I’d rather have Cinebook doing it’s thing with the extra undies than no Cinebook at all. But I still really wish they’d allow us 15+ readers to enjoy our adult fiction the way it was originally written and drawn.

It’s a pity that cinebook books are edited, not very well at times as you mentioned. I don’t want to know how will XIII look like…
I can only hope that maybe in the future they will re-release this as a unedited HC…

That guy looks so disappointed. Like he knows something is terribly terribly wrong with the world.

Maybe they have a promotional deal with one of the big Sexy Pants houses? Ann Summers, perhaps.
