I’ve just read an article on how they did forbid everyone to take pictures and films of the museum (inside and outside). The only way to use them was to pay copyrights. Can you imagine that ?
There is definitely something rotten in the moulinsart world…

Sadly as we’ve covered here several times Moulinsart hasn’t been giving itself the best PR image with the way its treated fans, especially the recent tussle with Tintin fan clubs. Although in this occasion I suppose in fairness I should point out many museums around the world don’t allow photography, at least on the inside of the building, bit mad if they aren’t letting them take the outside as well though, you’d think they’d want folks to do so then post them on blogs and Flickr groups and so generate free world of mouth publicity.

I think the main problem is that I’m talking about journalists, wich they invited for the great opening. And when people arrived with cameras, they said ok put it down, we won’t let you flood the world with our pictures.
Definitely the worst PR ever.
And furthermore as you say, with all that online sharing flickr things and so on, it’s not relevant to close your work to the mass. Let them see, share, and talk ! ;)
