Rich and Vicky, organisers of the Hi-Ex comics convention in Inverness which took place a couple of weeks ago tell me that this year they raised the rather fine sum of £1607.82 for the charity Children 1st through a mix of events, raffles and the popular auction which saw contributions from many, including artists like Mick McMahon and Frank Quietly which raised a lot of interest (and money). A very hearty well-done to Rich, Vicky and all who contributed and took part in raising money for a worthy cause. I’m pleased to say planning is underway for a third Hi-Ex next year.
