Profiles in History has another auction coming up at the end of this month which features a slew of collectable items of huge interest to comics, horror and science fiction fans, from signed photographs to costumes and also including material from the collection of the late, great SF superfan Forrest J Ackerman which, even in its later, reduced state (after he had to sell some of it previously) still boasts an eclectic mix of items, from a rare, specially commissioned nude statue of Marlene Dietrich to a faithful replica of the robot Maria costume from Metropolis which adorned his home for decades (the original from the film was destroyed in a fire, so this one was created) and original pages from Forry and Tom Sutton’s Vampirella #1.
