Crystal Palace Children’s Book Festival

The always delightful Sarah McIntyre has posted up a report and a slew of photos from the recent Crystal Palace Children’s Book Festival, which looks as if it was terrific fun for both the young readers and the authors and artists who were there (and anything that gets kids more involved with loving books is good as far as I’m concerned, hook them now on books and comics and they’ll love them for life and oh the places those books and comics will take them…).

From what Sarah says a great time was had by all and there was a respectable contingent of comics creators there to interact with the young readers too, including Emma Vieceli, Kate Brown, Paul Duffield, Garen Ewing, David O’Connell and others (and Sarah herself, of course!).  Sarah’s also been industrious in picking up what others have been posting up about the event (thanks, Sarah!):

(Emma Vieceli and Sarah McIntyre strike a pose; thanks to Sarah for letting us shamelessly pinch some of her pics and for the links, check her site for more and let’s hope this leads to another such event next year. Anyone who has posted up any more write-ups of the event drop us a line and we’ll add them to the links here.)
