Outgoing Doctor Who David Tennant will be in the second in the revamped St Trinian’s movies, its been announced. The first in the revived series, which included Russell Brand and Bond girl Gemma Arterton among the cast, did very well at the UK box office, and now cartoonist Ronald Searle’s creations are set for further new screen outings (is this the start of a new series of St Trinian’s movies?). Tennant is down to play the villain of the piece, Pomfrey, while another familiar (very attractive) face from BBC telefantasy will also join the series, Ashes to Ashes’ Montserrat Lombard.
