According to The Hollywood Reporter Marvel is now planning a Deadpool movie, spun off from the success of the Wolverine movie, itself a spinoff from the X-Men film franchise. The Wolverine flick seems to be dividing our readers with some enjoying it and others being less than impressed, but there’s no arguing with the box office and its done boffo at the BO as they say in the biz, prompting this planned spinoff vehicle for the Merc With the Mouth, which would star Ryan Reynolds reprising his role from the Wolverine flick, a move linked to one of the extra Easter Egg scene we mentioned a few days ago, which showed the Merc supposedly putting the dead into Deadpool, bereft of his breathing privileges, but now suddenly getting better (not that many stay dead for long in the comics universe anyway). I’m losing track of Marvel movie projects these days…
