Via the TARDIS Newsroom come a link to the first of 4 parts of a video of the Doctor Who panel at the weekend’s San Diego Comic Con, which is rather handy for those of us who couldn’t be there, with Russell T Davies and David Tennant. Very nice to see Who at such a major US event and to see it being so appreciated, although I’d hope if the Beeb can send Russell and David to a big US convention maybe they’d do the same for the home fans in the UK, I’m sure that would be a popular move.
Also via the Newsroom came a link to a glimpse of the trailer for the Christmas episode End of Time; it was shown at SDCC and this is obviously from someone who was videoing the panel so the quality is fairly poor, but beggars can’t be choosers! Again though, BBC if you’re listening, should Brit fans get this sort of enjoyable, high-profile treatment too? Shouldn’t you be taking the Who panel to BICS, perhaps? (warning, potential spoilers if you don’t want to know anything about Tennant’s two-part swansong then don’t proceed)
And yes, that was John Simm’s Master glimpsed in the murky video of the trailer there; the official BBC Doctor Who site has confirmed his return. (via Geek Syndicate)
