Yes, its another overly busty sexy superheroine, but its the great Gilbert Hernandez and while we’ve critiqued the OTT physiology of superheroines (and superheroes for that matter) in comics on here a number of times frankly both Los Bros Hernandez have Get Out of Jail Free Cards on that front (and what a front, arf arf, fnar fnar) simply because they are Los Bros and when they add sexuality into their works, be it this or Love and Rockets, its fun, natural (despite the dimensions) and not sleazy. And right now Dark Horse has Gilbert’s Dreamstar up online to read; go and enjoy.
