Drop Dead Gorgeous in Belfast this Halloween

Books, Conventions and events

My colleagues at the Belfast FP (52 -54 Ann Street, phone 028 9043 8744) tell me they are planning a highly appropriate event for Halloween with local writer Wayne Simmons. On the 31st of October Wayne will be in the Belfast FP from 2 to 4pm to sign from his recent novel Drop Dead Gorgeous, which sees an apocalyptic virus wiping out the majority of the population in Northern Ireland, only to resurrect hundreds of zombies – not the usual bloody, rotting messes either, rather beautiful zombies. Sounds like perfect Halloween fun and John at the Belfast store tells me there will be tattoo and horror make-up folks on hand to add to the shenanigans, although any brain eating will have to take place outside as we don’t allow food and drink in our shops.

I had read other novels of David Moody. But this novel seems mind blasting. I yet not read it but expecting a lot from it. I feel it will going to be popular. I am very exciting to read it.

Wayne Simmons will be appearing at the ‘Dawn of the Dead’ screening in Westfield Castlecourt Mall in Belfast on Halloween night for an additional signing and to enjoy the zombie infestation that has hit Belfast.
