Michael Reccia alerts us to the upcoming new issue of Sci-Fi & Fantasy Modeller – hard to believe its at the 15th volume already, doesn’t seem that long ago we were enthusing about its first issue. Volume 15 will cover a host of film and television science fiction, from Babylon 5’s part-Vorlon, part-Minbari White Star ships (I still love those designs, the then innovative use of CG effects allowed for wonderfully curved designs like this which recalled the great Chris Foss’s SF artwork) to the Scorpio from the later Blake’s 7 series.

Also in the next issue a look at making a Sith infiltrator from Star Wars, Star Wars parody fun with Robot Chicken’s miniatures, an enhanced Daleks in Manhattan kit build, Robby the Robot, the Seaview, the environment suits from Alien and, as you can probably guess from the cover, more from the imaginative worlds of the great Gerry Anderson with the Kestrel, a sister vessel to the Harrier-jet inspired Eagles from Space 1999 (still one of my favourite SF ship designs and ones which actually seemed practical too); volume 15 should be released on October 20th and can be ordered via our site here.
