Lew Stringer writes, over on his excellent Blimey! blog, about the new Hunt Emerson strip in the Beano. It’s a revamp of the classic Fred’s Bed which many of you reading this may be suddenly remembering very fondly right now.

Plus Lew Stringer also has his excellent Super School in the Beano right now and Laura Howell has not one but two strips; Johnny Bean and Ratz, which she’s taking over the art duties on as Hunt Emerson switches to Fred’s Bed. It’s nice when nice people get lots of work on something as classic as the Beano isn’t it?
