Sir Terry Pratchett was on hand to unveil some new street signs in the town of Wincanton; the street names in question were all chosen by residents from a shortlist picked out by Terry and all come from his Discworld – so right now someone will be settled into their home at Peach Pie Street! Oh man, I love that… Wincanton is officially twinned with another town – nothing unusual in that, of course, most towns are twinned with another, but in this case it is twinned with the Discworld’s Ankh-Morpork. Sorry, I know it’s quite old news now, but I just want to say I think it’s so cool that Terry is such a good writer of fantasy that his ideas can leak out into the real world!
