It is a real pleasure to tell you that our colleagues in the much-loved Nostalgia & Comics store in Birmingham will be hosting a real legend of the comics scene, Gilbert Shelton, on Friday the 13th of November from 4 to 5.30pm to celebrate the publication of the Fat Freddy’s Cat Omnibus from the good folks at Knockabout. N&C is located at 14-16 Smallbrook, Queensway, phone 0121 643 0143. I’m seriously jealous – if you’re in the Brum area you really should take this opportunity to meet one of the great comics creators; come along and feed your head.
