Graphic novel events at Hertfordshire libraries

Dave Gibbons Stevenage Central Library Hertfordshire

Emma at Hertfordshire libraries tells me that they are following up successful comics and graphic novel events last year with more as part of their book events throughout the county this year, including two creators dear to the heart of British comics readers, Dave Gibbons, who will be giving a talk in Stevenage Central Library on November 3rd at 8pm while Pat Mills will be at Watford Library on Thursday November 19th at 8pm.  I know I’ve said it before, but I’m regularly delighted with the way in which many librarians have used the comics medium to get more people interested in reading. For more details on these and other events check the libraries page on the Hertfordshire council site.
