Geek Syndicate‘s Barry Nugent is all excited at the news that his supernatural thriller Fallen Heroes is to be adapted into a graphic novel; as Barry is, as we all know, a huge comics buff, he’s pretty damned happy about this turn of events. Writer Martin Conaghan will be adapting Barry’s novel for the comics medium and commented “I’m looking forward to finding out where I can take Barry’s rich characters when I translate them on to the comic-book page; from the reluctant hero Jason Chen to the ruthless demon stalker Napoleon Stone. It has everything; a great blend of mythology, science-fiction, action and the supernatural – all told in a very visual style – it’s perfect for the graphic novel format.” Its thought the finished graphic novel version will come out sometime in 2010, I’m sure Barry will keep us up to date with progress.
