Our colleagues in our much-loved Nostalgia & Comics store in Birmingham enjoyed some Halloween fun at the weekend, with costumes encouraged in-store; even flaming skulled Ghost Rider needs to stop by to get his new comics, you know:

And the N&C guys also ran an art competition where budding local artists were encouraged to depict their friendly, neighbourhood comics store staff as monsters, including this very cool one which may be an imaginative take on the staff as monsters or it may be a realistic depiction of what they are like early on a Monday morning, we’re not quite certain…:
And I love this one loaded with SF, horror and B movie characters – Having Robbie the Robot from Forbidden Planet towering over it all is a nice touch too!
