Heavy Metal Mouth is a new art exhibition drawing on that mighty genre of rock’n'roll, heavy metal, opening in Edinburgh this weekend. Among the artists included in the show is Malcy Duff, who will have art from his Heroic Mosh of Mary’s Son comic from last year in the exhibition. A new comic by Malcy, The First Dog, is about to be released and should be available at the show; check Malcy’s site for more on the comics and the Polarcap site for more on the exhibition, which runs in Edinburgh’s West End (handily close to Haymarket station if you’re coming in from out of town) from June 27th to July 12th.
For fans on the other side of the Atlantic Malcy has somehow been allowed through US Immigration and is no doubt gleefully going about corrupting the comics reading youth of America as we speak. He will be taking part in a comic reading event with Eli Kezzler, Ashley Paul and Bob Bellerue in Goodbye Blue Monday in New York on July 6th, with doors opening at 8pm; check the venue’s site for more details.
