Despite a decline in the ratings in the US NBC has announced that Heroes will return with a new season this autumn. The show is still performing strongly around the world, encouraging NBC to go for a fourth season plus, as The Hollywood Reporter notes, they have a new SF show called Day One (survivors dealing with the aftermath of a global catastrophe) coming out and it might help to have a new show sharing an evening slot with an established SF show with a decent following. Apparently the network has considered setting an end date for the series, as with Lost and Galactica, but hasn’t done so yet and, if they do, it looks unlikely they’d make the fourth season the end run. Good news for those of us still addicted to the show…

Not to sure how i feel about Heroes at the moment, i’ve nt picked it up since they had the break in season 3, The show has still got a lot left in it! But it seemed like the writers have got stuck in a bit of a rut! I may have to eat my words depending how the rest of season 3 turns out.
